In the fast growing lane of the electronic world, kids are becoming desensitized. Presently, there are many statistics showing that they are struggling with intimacy, empathy and communication; leaving more room for isolation, loneliness and coldness. Onionhead balances the scales of this ‘metal world’ we have introduced our children to. Though It is nice that we have computer programs that teach certain intellectual skills, it is necessary to have emotional programs that teach loving skills. All people, no matter what the age, need to be in touch with what they feel. There is, never will be, never has been a better way to touch someone else’s heart or our own.

Onionhead is dedicated to sharing emotional awareness and problem solving skills. We use an onion as a medium to peel our feelings, feel our feelings, and ultimately heal our feelings. As well, an onion has no gender, which is beneficial for children’s usage.
